<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which verifies consistency between characters written to a paper document and contents of electronic data without requiring consideration of erroneous recognition in OCR processing. <P>SOLUTION: The device 1 stores bill electronic data, which are electronic data on bills 2, and the images of the back surfaces of the bills 2 which are read by a scanner 12. When the bill discounts entered on the back surfaces of the bills 2 are verified, the bill discount images are extracted from the images of the back surfaces of the bills 2, and the extracted bill discount images are displayed on a display 13. The device 1 refers to the bill discount images displayed on the display 13 and compares bill discount values inputted with a keyboard 14 with data which are included in the bill electronic data and correspond to the bill discounts to verify the bill discounts entered on the back surfaces of the bills 2 which are paper documents. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
