PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the formability while having a function of preventing slip-off in a plain ridge tile stacked on the ridge part of a roof by wet type construction method. SOLUTION: A back projecting part 21 of the plain ridge tile 13 placed on the upper side in stacking the plain ridge tiles 13, is locked on a front surface projecting part 20 of the plain ridge tile 13 placed on the lower side, thereby preventing the plain ridge tiles 13 from slipping off and shifting. In this case, the respective projecting parts 21 for preventing slip-off are provided to have a substantially fixed sectional form extending over the substantially full length of the plain ridge tile 13, whereby the cavity shape of the molding die for press-molding the plain ridge tile 13 is simplified to reduce the occurrence of molding failure. Further, the surface of the plain ridge tile 13 is stepped with the front projecting part 20 as a boundary, whereby the depth on one side of the cavity for press molding the front projecting part 20 is decreased to improve the formability of the plain ridge tile 13 (the front projecting part 20), and the step provided with the front projecting part 20 is made to function as a back board to improve waterproof performance.
