PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for changing a fluorescent protein into a structure emitting other wavelength fluorescence or into a structure enabling the emission of the fluorescence.

SOLUTION: This method for changing the fluorescent color (g)-showing structure of a fluorescent protein Yg into a fluorescent color (r)-showing structure on the basis of the conversion of a light-emitting protein Xβ to light-emitting energy of a prescribed wavelength β without emitting light from the outside. The method facilitates monitoring and enables the detection of an interaction between substances, the pursuit of protein behaviors, biological marking, and the screening of medicines in a state little invading into living bodies and the like.
