PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of restraining image flow caused by a discharge product stuck to an image carrier with simple constitution. SOLUTION: Abrasive lubricant is uniformly stuck to the surface of the image carrier 13 in non-contact therewith by a non-contact sticking part 76 on a more downstream side in the rotating direction of the image carrier 13 than a transfer position by a transfer roller 32 on the image carrier 13 and on a more upstream side in the rotating direction of the image carrier 13 than a sticking matter removing position by a cleaning member 66 on the image carrier 13. Therefore, the image flow caused by the occurrence of an area that abrasive and lubricant are not supplied to the surface of the image carrier 13 because the same image is continuously formed is restrained. Thus, the image forming apparatus 10 capable of restraining the image flow caused by the discharge product sticking to the image carrier 13 with simple constitution is provided.
