PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of processing radiation images for detecting radiological signs. SOLUTION: The algorithm for detecting radiological symptoms on the projection as functions of their contrast is provided. The contrast is measured by using the response of linear differential filters with different scales. The method can be used to colorize or emphasize the intensity of the detected radiological signs as a function of the degree of malignancy.
