<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter for display panels that can be manufactured continuously and has improved productivity while ensuring continuity satisfactorily, and to provide a method of manufacturing the filter for display panels. <P>SOLUTION: In the filter for display panels; there are an electromagnetic shielding material 2 and functional coating layers 3, 4 on a base material film 1, a conductive tape 5 is arranged on the functional coating layer at least at one portion of at least a pair of opposing periphery sections of the filter, and the conductive tape is in contact with the electromagnetic shielding material at least at one portion electrically. The method of manufacturing the filter for display panels includes: function layer formation processes A, B for forming the electromagnetic material and the functional coating layer on the base material film successively, a conductive tape arrangement process C for arranging the conductive tape on the functional coating layer, and a knurling process D for performing knurling from the surface of the conductive tape for allowing the conductive tape to come into contact with the electromagnetic sealing material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
