PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper device capable of continuously operating without applying load to a wiper motor or the like even when snow is deposited on a lower end of a windshield glass. SOLUTION: In the wiper device, a pivot lever 13 has a body lever 15 provided with a wiper pivot 16; a link side lever 14 connected to a first wiper link 12; and a connection part A for connecting the body lever 15 and the link side lever 14 and capable of switching an angleαformed by the body lever 15 and the link side lever 14. The connection part A is constituted such that the angleαformed by the body lever 15 and the link side lever 14 is switched so as to switch a wiping range of the wiper blade from a first wiping range usually wiped to a second wiping range set to a position left from a lower end of the windshield glass 25 than the first wiping range when the load of a predetermined value or more is applied.
