A television tuning circuit comprises two r.f. band-pass filters and the tank circuit of the local oscillator formed by three #/2 coaxial lines 2, 3, 4 shaped in the manner shown so that they can be accommodated in a rectangular box 22 together with compartments 1, 5 which house components of the input and i.f. circuits. The valves 6, 7 of these circuits are mounted on the box. The lines are tuned by capacitors 14, 15, 16, the rotary plates of whch are mounted on a common shaft 20. In a modification of the Fig. 3 construction, the oblique sections 2c, 3c, 4c of the lines are merged into the end sections by curved bends. in a further modification, the intermediate sections of the lines lie at right angles to the end sections.
