An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to read first and second measurement signals from each unit pixel of first and second pixel groups through first and second data lines in a state each voltage of the first and second data lines is the same voltage and compare each voltage of the data lines, thereby performing correctly the comparison operation. An LCD(1) includes a pixel array unit(10), a first data line(55-1), a second data line(55-2), a writing unit, a voltage supply control unit(35-1~35-n), a data line short unit(30), a reading unit, and an inspecting unit(40). The pixel array unit has pixel transistors, capacity devices, and unit pixels arranged in a matrix form. The first data line is connected to the input electrode of each unit pixel(50) of a first pixel group. The second data line is connected to the input electrode of each unit pixel of a second pixel group. The writing unit writes a first measurement signal to each unit pixel of the first pixel group through the first data line and writes a second measurement signal to each unit pixel of the second pixel group through the second data line. The voltage supply control unit supplies selectively a predetermined DC(Direct Current) voltage to the first and second data lines. The data line short unit shorts the first and second data lines after the voltage supply. The reading unit reads the first measurement signal from the each unit pixel of the first pixel group through the first data line and reads the second measurement signal from the each unit pixel of the second pixel group through the second data line after the shorts of the first and second data lines. The inspecting unit compares the voltage of the first data line with that of the second data line and inspects the pixel array unit based on the compared result.
