PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer that performs printing by rotating a recording disk while radially moving a printing head and is provided with a carrier capable of holding an ink cartridge with a small and simple structure. SOLUTION: A cartridge driving device for driving a cartridge 11 includes the carrier 31 that holds the cartridge 11 fixed to a belt. The cartridge 11 and carrier 31 are made freely attachable/detachable to/from each other by engaging/disengaging horizontally-extended grooves 37, which are provided to one of the cartridge and carrier, with/from a rib 14 provided to the other of the cartridge and carrier so as to be engaged/disengaged with/from the grooves 37.
