PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display panel inspection device by which characteristic inspection of response speed and the like of a display device can be accurately performed and to provide a manufacturing method of the display panel using the same. SOLUTION: The display panel inspection device to be the inspecting device of the line sequentially scanning type display panel is provided with a panel holding part holding the display panel and a light sensing means having a light receiving part in which an oblong aperture extended in the scanning direction of the display panel held by the panel holding part is formed and sensing light emitted from the display panel and passed through the aperture of the light receiving part.
