PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accessory for an outer covering panel capable of providing good waterproof effect by reducing the number of waterproof parts to one. SOLUTION: This accessory 1 for an outer covering panel comprises a base material 4 of L-shape in cross section covering the end 3a of the outer covering panel 3 installed on the outer wall body 2 of a building and a cover material 5. A first engagement part 6 and a second engagement part 11 are formed at the adjacent one side 4a and one side 5a of the base material 4 and the cover material 5. The first engagement part 6 is formed of a first slope 8 and a second slope 9 folded back from the end 4c of the one side 4a to the inner surface side 7 of the base material 4. The second engagement part 11 is formed of a first surface folded back from the end 5c of the one side 5a along the one side 5a and a third slope 14, a fourth slope 15, and a fifth slope 16 folded back from the end 13a of the first surface 13. A waterproof measure is taken by a seal material G1 at a corner G produced by the overlapping of the one side 4a of the base material 4 with the one side 5a of the cover material 5.
