PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of inducing anti-smoking based on objective data by using a method for testing the susceptibility to lung cancer for a smoker and/or people near the smoker, a method for inducing anti-smoking by utilizing a method for forecasting the tests of risk factors of the lung cancer by testing gene variations in an exon 1 region in the nucleic acid sequence of UGT1A7, and also an oligonucleotide primer for examining the gene variations in the exon 1 region of the UGT1A7, suitable for the method for inducing the anti-smoking. SOLUTION: This method for effectively inducing the anti-smoking is provided by performing the test of the variations of the enzyme gene UGT1A7 for the smoker and/or people in the surrounding of the smoker, since a specific variation of the exon 1 region of nucleic acid sequence of the UGT1A7 can become an independent risk factor of the lung cancer, and notifying the result to the smoker.
