PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more stable and wear resistant current collecting/feeding method in a current collector/feeding apparatus constituted by a conductor which moves relatively, and a current collecting/feeding terminal which is brought into contact with the conductor to collect and feed a current. SOLUTION: In a method to collect the current of an overhead wire 8 from a current collecting terminal 6 provided at an upper part of a pantograph 4 of a train 1, a vibrator 10 opposite to the overhead wire 8 is provided in a projectable manner at a place proximal to the current collecting terminal 6. The vibrator 10 is slightly vibrated, and contact and noncontact with the overhead wire 8 are repeated to slightly vibrate the overhead wire 8, then the overhead wire 8 and the current collecting terminal 6 are made to be proximal in a noncontacting manner at all times to collect and feed the current from a surface of the overhead wire 8.
