PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slit shape regulating device for a water collecting part by which a shape of a slit of a water collecting hole can be regulated by fitting a retrofitting type detachable slit shape regulating device to the water collecting hole of an existing side ditch, and barrier-free system can be realized easily as the slit shape regulating device can be fitted, in a retrofitting manner, to the existing side ditch having no problem when installed. SOLUTION: The slit shape regulating device comprises; a slit shape regulation member 2 placed on a slit 14; a rotary member 3 hanging down from the slit shape regulation member 2 so that the tip thereof may pass through the slit 14 and protrude into a flow passage; and a rotation hindering member 7 including a swinging engaging plate 4 screwed to the rotary member 3 so that a protruding element thereof may be engaged with an inner wall near the slit of the flow passage and a rotation hindering part 6 fitted to an upper position of the swinging engaging plate 4 to hinder rotation of the swinging engaging plate 4 and to enable the protruding element to be placed at a position nearly perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the slit.
