PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of packaging an intraocular lens without the need for excess operation of the lens, being systematically uncomplicated, and/or controlling the lens enough when it is inserted into an eye. SOLUTION: A method of packaging an intraocular lens 12 comprises inserting an intraocular lens into a passage of an inserter 10 adapted to insert the lens into an eye and shipping a container having the inserter with the lens in the passage for distribution to a surgeon for surgical use.
