A backlight unit of an LCD is provided to reduce reflectance at a position of the light source relatively as compared to a position where the light source is not disposed to prevent a hot-spot phenomenon that a position of a light source is displayed brightly on an LCD panel. A mold frame(210) includes a reflective sheet(230), one or more diffusion sheets(250-1,250-2), one or more prism sheets(270-1,270-2), and a containing space containing a plurality of light emitting diodes(220). A light blocking tape(280) adheres the reflective sheet, the prism sheet, and the plurality of light emitting diodes and the diffusion sheets removed in a receiving space of the mold frame to fix them in the receiving space, and blocks reflection of light emitted by the plurality of light emitting diodes to the outside. A first color area corresponding to the plurality of light emitting diodes in a vertical direction in an entire area of one side of the light blocking tape is colored in a first color, and a second color area except for the plurality of first color areas is colored in a second color.
