<p>An efficient clustering method through adaptive hello message period control in an ad hoc wireless network is provided to be capable of deciding mobility features by cluster according to mobility of nodes corresponding to each cluster, while Hello message transmission periods are controlled according to the mobility features, thus an overhead can be reduced. Mobility on clusters at random time is decided(S501-S504). Mobility by cluster is decided on through weight average mobility(S505). Hello message transmission periods in accordance with mobility by cluster are controlled(S506). The mobility is calculated by calculating density of the clusters and the number of affiliation/secession times of mobile nodes within the clusters.</p> |
