<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The spring has concentric reinforcement layers (7, 8) wound around a central core (6) with minimum diameter. The layers are constituted of unidirectional reinforcing fibers that form an angle ranging between 40-50 degrees, with respect to an axis of the core. The fibers are impregnated of a matrix formed of thermosetting resin e.g. epoxy, vinylester and polyester, or metal matrix. The fibers are selected among e.g. glass, carbon, basalt, boron, polypropylene (PP) or aramid fibers. The core is made of reinforcing, conductive or piezo-electric materials. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used for opening a boot, a door and an engine cowl of a vehicle, and in a windscreen wiper arm of an elastic arm e.g. circular-sectioned elastic bar and pseudo-elliptical sectioned elastic bar such as vehicle suspension torsion bar and anti-rolling bar. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The spring creates the bar that is rigid in torsion around the axis of the central core, flexible in a plane perpendicular to a main plane and is rigid in flexion in the main plane, in an optimal manner.
