An assembling structure between a frame and a cylinder of a hermetic compressor is provided to secure guide ribs of a cylinder in guide grooves of a frame for assembling the cylinder with the frame without minimum deformation thereof, so that a reciprocation moving axis of a piston in the cylinder is coincided with a central axis of a compression chamber of the cylinder, thereby improving operation reliability and durability of the compressor. An assembling structure between a frame and a cylinder of a hermetic compressor includes a frame(30) having a crank shaft penetrating the center of the frame and rotating in the frame, and a cylinder(70) prepared separately from the frame and coupled with the frame, wherein the cylinder has a compression chamber(72) formed by penetrating the center of the cylinder and a piston is located in the compression chamber. The frame and the cylinder are formed with guide grooves(66) and guide ribs(76) at corresponding surfaces, so that the guide ribs are secured in the guide grooves and guide the movement of the cylinder.
