<p>An apparatus and method for processing a connection failure in an unlicensed mobile access network is provided to enable a mobile terminal to quickly detect failure occurrence if the connection failure occurs in a lower layer. A first node transmits a message of a voice call service or data service which can verify a connecting state of a lower layer to a second node. The first node performs the providing service continuously if the first node does not receive a message notifying that the failure occurs in the lower layer, from the second node, while transmitting the message. The first node performs a failure processing process previously defined if the first node receives the message notifying that the failure occurs in the lower layer, from the second node, while transmitting the message.</p> |
