An OLED display device and a driving method thereof are provided to enhance display quality of the OLED display device by applying a bias stress to a driving TFT(Thin Film Transistor). An OLED(Organic Light Emitting Diode) display device includes an illumination cell(DEL), a driving transistor(DT), a data driver(124), and a compensation circuit(134). The illumination cell is connected between a high level voltage source(VDD) and a first node(N1). The driving transistor, which is connected between the first node and a ground voltage source, controls current in the illumination cell by the voltage of a gate terminal. The data driver applies a data voltage having a first polarity to the gate terminal and shifts a threshold voltage of the driving transistor toward the data voltage having the first polarity. The compensation circuit supplies a compensation voltage having a second polarity to the gate terminal, shifts the threshold voltage from the voltage having the first polarity to the voltage having a second polarity, and recovers the threshold voltage by supplying a constant current to the gate terminal.
