A network system with a power management function is provided to prevent the damage of a computer or peripheral devices due to power failure and maintain and manage safely the network system by managing automatically the power of a master computer, a slave computer, and peripheral devices according to the operation status of an UPS, external power and a master computer. A first sensor(42) is installed in an UPS(Uninterruptible Power Supply)(50) to sense the operation status of the UPS. Power is charged to the UPS for power failure. A second sensor(44) is installed in a power line to sense a power supply status. External power is transmitted to a master computer(10) through the power line. A third sensor(46) is installed in the master computer to sense the operation status of the master computer. An automatic booting controller(30) is connected to the first sensor, the second sensor, and the third sensor, computes logically signals transmitted from each sensor, and controls the power of the master computer.
