PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pavement method which is suitable for execution on a large execution surface, and can promptly form a pavement surface having a high degree of finishing perfection without the need for a skilled technology. SOLUTION: The pavement method has five processes. The first process is an unevenness adjustment layer forming process which forms a nearly square unevenness adjustment layer 3. A linear vertical alignment line 6, a lateral alignment line 7 orthogonal to the linear vertical alignment line 6, and an oblique adjustment line 8 are formed on the unevenness adjustment layer 3, and the oblique adjustment line 8 is used for checking an orthogonal state between the vertical alignment line 6 and the lateral alignment line 7. Then the second process is a pattern layer forming process which forms a pattern layer 4 having a joint layer and a surface layer material. The third process is a bring-in process which carries the unevenness adjustment layer 3 and the pattern layer 4 into an execution site, and the fourth process is an unevenness adjustment layer adhesion process which continuously places the unevenness adjustment layer 3 on the surface of the execution surface and adheres it.
