A dishwasher is provided to preclude a sump from being separated from a base by installing dampers and vibration proof members and supporting a cleaning motor. A dishwasher comprises a base(100), a sump(30), a cleaning motor, and dampers(110,130). The sump is installed to the base. The cleaning motor is joined with the sump. The dampers are installed to the base to prevent the sump from being fluctuated from the base. An insertion part(120) is extended from the bottom surface of the sump. The dampers are inserted in the insertion part. Vibration proof members are inserted between the base and the cleaning motor to absorb the vibration generated from the cleaning motor. The vibration proof members and the damper are separated with a predetermined gap.
