PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract a subject, which allows a user to easily decide whether a message should be read or not, from the latest message. SOLUTION: From an inputted message, a subject group for display matching a pattern representing a subject for display is found, and a subject group not for display matching a pattern representing a subject not for display is found. A subject having relationship between the subject for display and a subject appearing in a message group inputted before the inputted message is found, and locations of messages, in which the subject for display and the subject not for display appear individually, among the inputted message group are stored as a history.
