A system and a method for managing prepaid service are provided to improve user convenience of using various kinds of services within prepaid amount, a password issuing unit, and an SP(Service Provider), and produce an additional value for a prepaid service manager. An issuance command receiver(11) receives a command for issuing a password corresponding to prepaid amount. An electronic wallet(12) stores limit amount of issuing the password. A password issuing unit(13) issues the password corresponding to the prepaid amount available within the limit in response to the password issuance command. An subtracting part(14) offsets the limit of the electronic wallet as much as the corresponding amount of the issued password. The password issuing unit includes a password generator(13a), a password output device(13b), and a password storage unit(14c). The password generator generates the password when the prepaid amount is not bigger than the limit amount. |
