DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT METHOD USING BARCODE TO STORE ACCESS HISTORY INFORMATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage access history information about metadata and a document in particular.

SOLUTION: This method comprises the steps of: acquiring metadata including an electronic copy of a document and access history; preparing barcode data representing the metadata; and performing at least one of the following (c1) through (cd): printing the document and the barcode data on a recording medium (c1); displaying the document and the barcode data in a display device (c2); storing the document and the barcode data related to the document (c3); and transmitting the document and the barcode data related to the document to an external device.
