PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower whose airflow characteristic is improved and noise can be reduced, and to provide an impeller to be mounted to the blower. SOLUTION: The blower 10 is provided with a casing 2, an impeller 3 disposed in the casing 2, and a motor 4 for rotation-driving the impeller 3. The inclined parts 5b are provided on the inner peripheral sides of the upper ends 5a of respective blades 5 and further, an inclined face 6a is provided on a boss part 6. Thereby, a conventional turbulent vortex is prevented from occurring, and noise can be reduced. Further, since no turbulent vortex occurs, the air flowing resistance is lowered to improve the airflow characteristic. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
