PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric blower precisely detecting the temperature of exhaust air while reducing the noise. SOLUTION: This electric blower is provided with a motor part 41 disposed with a centrifugal fan 35g projectingly on a downstream side of an air sending part 35a stored in a fan cover 35d, a soundproof material 43 covering the motor part 41 and having a hole 44, a motor cover 39 having an air outlet 45 where air generated by the air sending part 35a passes through and covering the soundproof material 43, a detection hole 39a provided in a position deviated from the air outlet 45 and facing the hole 44, and a temperature sensor 40b having a detection hole 39a sensing the temperature. The temperature sensor 40b is attached to the outer surface of the motor cover 39 for facing the detection part 39b inside the motor cover 39 through the detection hole 39a, so that the exhaust air from the motor part 41 directly flows out of the hole 44 and abuts on the detection part 39b of the temperature sensor 40b provided in the facing position to precisely sense the temperature of the exhaust air.
