PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine that has a wide range of the neoplastic disease spectrum including sarcoma, fibrosarcoma, glioblastoma, malignant tumor, melanoma, Hodgkin's and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, leukemia and others. SOLUTION: This is a medicine for inhibiting the growth of neoplasms in mammals by using a prolactin-reducing agent or a prolactin-increasing agent. The prolactin-decreasing agent is given to the mammal for a certain time among the 24 hours so as to allow the circadian prolactin profile to coincide or approach that of the healthy mammals of the same species and sex. The certain time is determined by comparing the blood prolactin level at a plurality of discrete time points everyday to those of the corresponding points among the 24 hours.
