INFORMATION RECORDING MEDIUM, PROGRAM FOR BROWSING CONTENT, AND REPRODUCING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily down-load contents while surely protecting the copyright of the content and to browse the contents in accordance with his or her taste by using GUI (Graphical User Interface).

SOLUTION: The information recording medium stores peculiar information used for certification for a server by a reproducing device and a program for perusing contents including a plurality of application programs for making GUI by the reproducing device. In the program for perusing contents, the following steps are executed: a step (S003) of accessing to the server on a network; a step (S004) of transmitting certification information including the peculiar information to the server; a step (S007) of down-loading contents from the server; and a step (S009) of making GUI of the down-loaded contents using the application program selected from a plurality of application programs making GUI.
