<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce leakage of a fuel to the outside when a fuel cartridge is attached/detached, in a connector for a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: This connector 1 for a fuel cell has a connector-side valve 12 opening/closing a fuel receiving opening 10a and carrying out an opening operation along with a cartridge-side valve 34 by a first pushing operation; an elastic member 14 energizes a connector body part 10 for fitting and connecting a cartridge-side connection part 33 thereto against the pushing direction. A fixing mechanism part 20 attached to a fuel cell using apparatus by having engagement means 23, 24 and 25 engaging with the cartridge-side connection part 33 is arranged around the connector body part 10. By a second pushing operation, the connector body part 10 is moved integrally with the cartridge-side connection part 33 with the fuel receiving opening 10a and a fuel supply opening 34a kept at positions adjacent to each other; and the cartridge-side connection part 33 is engaged with the engagement means 23, 24 and 25 to connect and fix the fuel cartridge 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
