A method and a system for motion capture using relative coordinates are provided to measure multiple points simultaneously without limit and reduce a limitation of a measurable area significantly without a limit of a number of multiple points by using a wireless frequency. A method for motion capture using relative coordinates comprises the following steps of: enabling measuring modules(100) to measure a distance between the measuring modules and transmit the distance; enabling a receiving device(200) to receive distance measures transmitted from the each measuring module; enabling an operation processing device(300) to form a standard coordinate system by using the distance measures between the measuring modules received from the receiving device; and enabling the operation processing device to perform operation of calculating relative coordinates by using the distance measures between the measuring modules, received from the receiving device, and the formed standard coordinate system. |
