A display terminal with a cover which is opened and closed in automatic/semiautomatic ways is provided to enable the cover for protecting a display screen to be automatically/semiautomatically opened/closed, thereby improving the usage convenience of the protecting cover. A display terminal(100) comprises as follows. A body(110) is equipped with a display screen. A cover(120) protects the display screen by being hinge-coupled with the body(110). A driver(130) realizes opening/closing actions by being installed on the body(110). When the driver(130) is operated by an external input signal, the cover(120) is automatically opened and closed by operation of the driver(130). When the driver(130) is operated by motion of the cover(120) by external power, the cover(120) is semiautomatically opened and closed by operation of the driver(130).
