FIELD: mining, particularly methods of underground brown or hard coal mining. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves preparing extraction pillar by drilling haulage and air roadways, preparing excavation strip by drilling man-passage, ventilation raises and coal chute; creating mounting chamber and installing stoping equipment therein; performing mechanized coal excavation and transportation along face; performing gravity conveying of coal to haulage roadway and venting breakage face by means of mine drawdown. Coal chute is created in excavation strip center at seam ground. Support sections provided with support beams located at mid-height support level are used as the stoping equipment. Support sections are directed along seam inclination line so that support beams face coal massif and the support sections are united with mining machines over and under support beams. Breakage face has stepped shape by coal excavation from central breakage face part and then in neighboring and extreme parts thereof. After stepped shape imparting to breakage face coal is excavated simultaneously from all steps to provide simultaneous-sequential cut coal transportation to coal chute. At final stage straight shape is given back to breakage face. ^ EFFECT: increased coal mining efficiency and safety. ^ 4 dwg |
