METHOD FOR TESTING AN OPERATION OF A LNG REGASIFICATION VESSEL USING A DUMMY BUOY FOR THE LNG REGASIFICATION VESSEL

A method for testing an operation of an LNG regasification vessel using a dummy buoy for the LNG regasification vessel is provided to confirm the normal operation of all equipment of the LNG regasification vessel without moving the LNG regasification vessel to a place where an actual buoy is installed. A method for testing an operation of an LNG regasification vessel using a dummy buoy(31) for the LNG regasification vessel includes the steps of anchoring the dummy buoy so that the dummy buoy can be located under the sea by a predetermined depth, pulling up the anchored dummy buoy and fixing the dummy buoy to the lower end of a turret provided in the LNG regasification vessel, and lowering the dummy buoy to a predetermined depth under the sea water by separating the dummy buoy from the lower end of the turret. The dummy buoy has the same shape and weight as an actually used buoy.
