A procedure for the manufacture of a toothed wheel made of a pressed and sintered powder metal blank (1) with allowance in the area of the toothing, whereby plastic deformation compresses the powder metal blank (1) by unwinding the compression tool (7) produced by the opposed toothing penetrating the toothing of the powder metal blank (1). To create advantageous compression conditions, it is suggested that the profile rollers (8) produced by the axial unwinding of the compression tool (7) in the direction of the power metal blank (1) are compressed simultaneously over the entire circumference. |
