<p>Provided is a liquid level detecting apparatus by which the level of a liquid stored in a container can be detected irrespective of the material and arrangement of the container. In a liquid level detecting apparatus (10), inside of a container (13) is imaged from a prescribed position where a container opening end (14) and a liquid level (15) are within an imaging range, and whether a distance from the container opening end (14) to the liquid level (15) in the picked up image is within a set threshold value or not is judged. The liquid level detecting apparatus (10) can detect the positions of metal containers which do not transmit light and the positions of liquid levels in the containers arranged in matrix.</p> |
