<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink set that, in printing, can satisfy the suppression of an increase in granularity level, suppression of quasi-contour, suppression of iridescent light, color reproduction and gloss. <P>SOLUTION: The ink set comprising at least three color inks, that is, a yellow ink in which the hue angle ∠H° defined in a CIELAB color space on a recording medium is in the range of about 80°-about 110°, a magenta ink of which the hue angle ∠H° is in the range of about 330°-about 360°, a cyan ink of which the hue angle ∠H° is in the range of about 230°about 260°, and the following inks (A) and (B). Ink (A): an ink of which the hue angle ∠H° is in the range of about 0°-about 80°. Ink (B): an ink of which the hue angle ∠H° is in the range of about 0°-about 80°. The ink (A) has higher chroma and lower brightness than the magenta ink.
