PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely download data with minimum network load and communication cost, regardless of a magnitude of data capacitance, in response to only one time of download requesting from a mobile terminal within a local area. SOLUTION: A data acquisition system 1 is provided which is constituted of a mobile terminal 2, a base station 3, a server 4 and an exchange 5 which selects a base station located within a communicable area of the mobile terminal, wherein when the mobile terminal transmits a data acquisition request through the base station and the exchange to the server, the server transmits acquisition requested data through the exchange and the base station to the mobile terminal, and the mobile terminal acquires the data. The server stores moving route information of the mobile terminal, the mobile terminal transmits the data acquisition request through the base station and the exchange to the server, the server transmits the acquisition requested data and the moving route information to the exchange, the exchange transmits the data to the base station on the basis of the moving route information, and the base station transmits the data to the mobile terminal.
