PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an access node and a method for actuating V5 interface connection. SOLUTION: The inventive access node includes a V5 interface, a first timer and a first detection module. A method is also provided for actuating V5 interface connection. In the access node and the method for actuating V5 interface connection, successful connection can be ensured between an access node and a local exchange by controlling actuation of V5 interface connection using the first timer.
