The arrangement has a sensor (S) e.g. hall sensor, arranged in a housing (G), and two or three connecting contacts (C0, C1) provided at the housing for contacting the sensor. A freely programmable digital processor (CPU), a program memory (MP) and a data memory (MD) for controlling and/or processing the functionalities and/or measuring data of the sensor are integrated in the housing. A supply voltage and a pulse are inducible through the connecting contact (C1). An integrated interface (I) converts the serial data (d) from the connecting contacts as parallel data on a bus (B). An independent claim is also included for a method for actuating a monolithic sensor arrangement.
