<p>An operation control method of air conditioner with air cleaning mode is provided to automatically perform an air cleaning operation for a certain time according to a pollution degree of indoor air when a pollution degree of indoor air is higher than a certain value. An operation control method of air conditioner with air cleaning mode includes the steps of: determining whether the air conditioner is operated in an air cleaning mode(S10); measuring an outdoor pollution degree when the air conditioner is not operated in the air cleaning mode and then determining whether the pollution degree is kept higher than a predetermined value for a certain time(S12); operating the air conditioner in the air cleaning mode when the pollution degree is kept higher than a predetermined value for a certain time(S16); measuring an indoor pollution degree after the air cleaning mode is performed and then performing air cleaning operation when the measured indoor pollution degree is higher than a predetermined value(S22); measuring the time for operation of the air cleaning mode and then stopping the air cleaning mode when the measured time exceeds a predetermined time(S26).</p> |
