A quick heating method for a vehicle is provided to quickly heating the indoor of the vehicle in cold weather by stopping the direct connection of the damper clutch when a quick heating mode is required according to temperature of the outside air, a temperature of cold water and selection of user. In a vehicle including a cold water circulation device for supplying hot air generated by hot water heated by a heat exchanger into the vehicle, an engine controller controlling the cold water circulation device and a auto-transmission for directly connecting or releasing a damper clutch according to a driving speed, a quick heating method for the vehicle includes the steps of: receiving a temperature of the outside air, a temperature of cold water and a heating signal selected by a user(101,103,105,107,109); determining whether it is cold weather and then setting the cold water circulation device to a quick heating mode when it is cold weather(113), transmitting a signal for quick heating mode to the auto-transmission; and determining whether the damper clutch is currently in direct connection region and then temporarily stopping the direct connection of the damper clutch by controlling transmission control duty of the damper clutch when the damper clutch is in direct connection region(119).
