A method and an apparatus for transceiving CQI in a multiple transceiving antenna system are provided to control a rank, where the transceiving state with terminals within a cell is poor, to be excluded in an MU-MIMO system and obtain high diversity gain when the number of terminals is small within the cell, thereby improving the efficiency of system performance. A method for transmitting CQI(Channel Quality Indicator) comprises the following steps of: allowing a terminal(310) to determine the number of sub streams where each column of a line code matrix for all line code matrixes and estimating the CQI of sub stream combination according to the determined number of sub streams; and allowing the terminal to perform the feedback of the estimated CQI of all antenna combinations and all sub stream combinations indicating sub streams, applied actually to the line code matrixes, to a base station(305)(320).
