A METHOD OF CONSTRUCTING LDPC CODES, A DECODING METHOD AND A TRANSMITTING SYSTEM THEREOF

A method of constructing LDPC (low density parity check) codes, a decoding method and a transmitting system using the LDPC codes are provided. The method includes: constructing a LDPC matrix of the LDPC codes using a fixed pattern; partitioning the data coming from an information source (101) into blocks, using above constructed LDPC matrix directly or indirectly to encode, so as to obtain LDPC codeword; and outputting the LDPC codeword. The LDPC codes can be encoded using the check matrix, and using a generating matrix as well. According to the present invention, the constructing method can obtain an excellent parity check matrix of LDPC codes, the method of constructing LDPC codes, and the decoding method with low complexity.
