<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device which can establish optional luminescent chromaticity without reducing light extraction efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting device includes a substrate 14, a white insulating layer 15 formed thereon; a circuit pattern 16 which is formed on the insulating layer and has a light emitting element connection, a light emitting element 13 which is arranged on the insulating layer and is electrically connected with the light emitting element connection of the circuit pattern layer; a phosphor-containing resin layer 27 which includes a yellow phosphor that is excited by a blue light radiated from the light emitting element to emit a yellow light or an orange light, and is arranged to cover the light emitting element; and a sheet-like phosphor layer 30 which includes a red phosphor that is excited by a blue light radiated from the light emitting element to emit a red light, and is arranged on the phosphor-containing resin layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
