<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump water heater capable of increasing heat exchange quantity and having a compact heat exchanger. <P>SOLUTION: This heat pump water heater comprises a refrigerant circuit constituted by successively circularly connecting a water-refrigerant heat exchanger 1, a pressure reducing means 2, an evaporator 3 and a compressor 4 by refrigerant piping, and a hot water supply circuit 5 connected to the water-refrigerant heat exchanger 1, and a porous pipe is spirally disposed inside of the water-refrigerant heat exchanger. Thus a dead space of the heat exchanger can be erased, a contact area of a refrigerant passage and a water passage can be increased, the water of a wide temperature range can be heated in a short time, and a heat pump unit can be compacted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
