<p>A control apparatus and a method of a synchronous reluctance motor are provided to control a drive simply by determining a relative position of a stator and a Hall sensor and a relative position of a rotor and a sensing magnet. A control apparatus of a synchronous reluctance motor(44) includes a 3-phase sensing magnet(43), a Hall sensor(42), and a controlling IC(20). The 3-phase sensing magnet is fixed to a shaft by using correlation with a D-axis of a rotor in a vector diagram. The Hall sensor measures a relative location of the sensing magnet which is located around a center of a coil axis of a stator and outputs high and low signals after magnetic flux by an N pole and an S pole of the sensing magnet is inputted. A center of the N pole or the S pole of the sensing magnet is located around a center of the D-axis of the rotor. The controlling IC controls a synchronous reluctance motor by determining the relative location of the rotor by measurement of the Hall sensor.</p> |
